Want queen-size sleeping space on both levels, with storage built into the stairs? Meet our Bellamy Queen Bunk Bed with Stairs. Each of its four steps has a built-in drawer. That gives the staircase a second job: keeping everyday belongings close by. Reversible headboards let you place the stairs on either end of the bed. Leave room to approach the steps and open the drawers. Rubberwood is a hardwood.
Together with three-inch posts and metal-to-metal rail connectors, it contributes to the bed’s sturdy construction. Each queen bed has an eight-hundred-pound weight capacity. Both levels take standard queen mattresses. Set the lower rails during assembly, and change their height later as your needs change. Low gives more space between the beds; high makes room for an optional underbed unit.
The four stair drawers are included. The drawers beneath the lower bed are a separate, optional choice. At the higher rail position, choose two underbed drawers with a cubby. Or choose a Twin XL or Full XL storage trundle. Add a mattress to the trundle for another sleeping space, or use it with dividers for storage. Plan for sixty-six inches in width, one hundred seven and three-quarter inches in length, and seventy-one inches in height.
Those are the bed’s overall dimensions. Check ceiling height, stair access, and clearance for whichever drawers or trundle you choose. We recommend a top mattress up to eight inches thick. Below, choose up to eight inches at the higher rail position, or twelve at the lower position. Choose White, Black, Blue, Espresso, or Grey to suit your room. The beadboard panels give Bellamy its coastal style.
Later, Bellamy can separate into two individual Queen beds. Explore the stair model with Totally Home Furniture at the bean bag store dot com, or ask our team for help.
