Warranty Information
At Totally Home, we partner with trusted manufacturers to offer quality furniture and home products designed for everyday comfort and long-term use. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty that may cover defects in materials or workmanship, giving you added confidence in your purchase.
Warranty coverage, terms, and claim decisions are determined by the individual manufacturer. Totally Home will assist with the warranty claim process when applicable, but the final decision regarding approval, repair, replacement, or parts coverage is made solely by the manufacturer.
Manufacturer Warranty
Warranty coverage begins on the date your item is delivered and varies by manufacturer and product. Manufacturer-specific warranty details can typically be found on the individual product page or in the warranty documentation provided by the manufacturer.
If an item is determined by the manufacturer to be defective under their warranty, the manufacturer may authorize one or more of the following remedies:
- Replacement parts
- An allowance toward a furniture technician or repair service
- Repair of the item
- Replacement of the product
The available remedy is determined by the manufacturer based on their warranty terms, the nature of the defect, and product availability.
Exclusions to the Manufacturer Warranty
Manufacturer warranties generally do not cover the following:
- Misuse or Abuse: Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, improper handling, or use outside of the product’s intended purpose.
- Unauthorized Repairs or Modifications: Any repair, alteration, modification, or service performed without authorization may void the manufacturer’s warranty.
- Normal Wear and Tear: Gradual wear from regular use, including fading, fabric pilling, cushion softening, minor settling, or other natural changes over time.
- Improper Maintenance: Damage resulting from failure to follow recommended care instructions, including improper cleaning methods, lack of routine maintenance, or incorrect upholstery care.
- Delivery or Transit Damage: Manufacturer warranties do not cover damage claimed to have occurred during shipping, transit, or delivery. Delivery-related concerns must be reported according to The Bean Bag Store’s delivery damage policy.
- Commercial Use: Unless expressly stated otherwise by the manufacturer, warranties apply to residential use only. Use in commercial, rental, institutional, or business settings may void the warranty.
Please note: Warranty terms vary by manufacturer and product. The information above is a general overview and does not replace the specific warranty terms provided by the manufacturer.
