Warranty Information
At Totally Home, we partner with trusted manufacturers to offer quality furniture and home products designed for everyday comfort and long-term use. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty that may cover defects in materials or workmanship, giving you added confidence in your purchase.
Warranty coverage, terms, and claim decisions are determined by the individual manufacturer. Totally Home will assist with the warranty claim process when applicable, but the final decision regarding approval, repair, replacement, or parts coverage is made solely by the manufacturer.
Manufacturer Warranty
Warranty coverage generally begins on the date your item is delivered and varies by manufacturer and product. Manufacturer-specific warranty details may appear on the individual product page or in documentation provided by the manufacturer.
If an item is determined by the manufacturer to be defective under its warranty, the manufacturer may authorize one or more of the following remedies:
- Replacement parts
- An allowance toward a furniture technician or repair service
- Repair of the item
- Replacement of the product
The available remedy is determined by the manufacturer based on its warranty terms, the nature of the defect, and product or replacement-part availability.
Ashley Furniture Warranty Information
Warranty coverage for Ashley Furniture products varies by product, part, and component. When an individual product page displays a specific warranty duration, that information provides a product-level summary. The complete manufacturer terms should also be reviewed for applicable limitations, exclusions, labor coverage, and claim requirements.
If a product-specific warranty duration is not displayed, please review Ashley Furniture’s official limited warranty information to determine which coverage may apply. Ashley states that its applicable warranty periods begin on the date the product is delivered.
Because a single Ashley product may contain parts or components with different warranty periods, the general Ashley warranty information should not be interpreted as assigning one warranty duration to every part of a product.
Exclusions to the Manufacturer Warranty
Manufacturer warranties generally do not cover the following:
- Misuse or Abuse: Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, improper handling, or use outside of the product’s intended purpose.
- Unauthorized Repairs or Modifications: Any repair, alteration, modification, or service performed without authorization may void the manufacturer’s warranty.
- Normal Wear and Tear: Gradual wear from regular use, including fading, fabric pilling, cushion softening, minor settling, or other natural changes over time.
- Improper Maintenance: Damage resulting from failure to follow recommended care instructions, including improper cleaning methods, lack of routine maintenance, or incorrect upholstery care.
- Delivery or Transit Damage: Manufacturer warranties generally do not cover damage claimed to have occurred during shipping, transit, or delivery. Delivery-related concerns must be reported according to Totally Home’s delivery damage policy.
- Commercial Use: Unless expressly stated otherwise by the manufacturer, warranties generally apply to residential use only. Use in commercial, rental, institutional, or business settings may void the warranty.
Please note: Warranty terms vary by manufacturer, product, and component. The information above is a general overview and does not replace the specific warranty terms issued by the manufacturer. If the warranty summary shown on a product page differs from the manufacturer’s complete warranty documentation, the manufacturer’s terms control.
