Want a queen bed below, with your choice of sleeping space above? Our Crystal White L Shaped Loft Bed brings the two beds together in an L-shaped arrangement. The lower queen sits at a right angle to the upper loft. Part of the queen rests beneath the loft, while the rest extends out into the room. Choose Twin XL, Full XL, or Queen for the upper bed. Whichever you choose, the lower bed stays Queen.
All three upper frames are eighty-eight inches long and seventy-one inches high. What changes is their width. Twin XL is forty-two and a half inches wide, Full XL is fifty-seven and a half, and Queen is sixty-four. A wider upper bed covers more of the lower queen. A narrower upper bed leaves more of the lower queen open above. Think about the sleeping space you want on top, and how you want the lower bed to feel.
The lower queen frame is sixty-four inches wide, eighty-four inches long, and forty inches high. Plan the two frames together, rather than treating the upper measurements as the whole layout. Crystal is made from solid birch. Each bed has a stated two-thousand-pound weight capacity. The setup includes the upper loft, a straight end ladder, two guardrails, Euro-slats, and the lower queen bed.
Choose the upper mattress to match your selected size, and a Queen mattress below. We recommend no more than eleven inches thick above and eight inches below. Check your ceiling height and leave a clear approach to the end ladder. Measure wall space for the full L-shaped arrangement, including the lower queen extending into the room. Later, the upper loft can separate into a standard bed.
