Darby Natural Queen Bunk Bed with Twin XL Loft | Three-Bed Layout

Darby Natural Queen over Queen with Twin XL Loft Bunk Beds combines a Queen-over-Queen bunk with a Twin XL loft extension at a right angle. That is three included main sleeping surfaces: two Queens and one Twin XL, rather than another bed beneath the extension. The floor area below the Twin XL extension stays open in this configuration. You can plan a separate desk, dresser or seating there, depending on the room.

Those room furnishings are not included pieces of the bunk. Darby’s solid birch is a hardwood. Supplied metal support rods contribute to the two-thousand-pound capacity per main sleeping surface, including the Queen beds and Twin XL extension. The optional trundle has separate support and mattress requirements. The arrangement includes two straight ladders and four guardrails, with Euro-slats supporting the main beds. Keep the ladder entrances and walking paths usable as you plan furniture around the L-shaped frame.

Beneath the lower Queen, choose optional drawers, divided cubbies, one of each, or a Twin XL storage trundle. These underbed units are separate additions, so decide whether storage or a pull-out mattress best serves the room. Plan both sides of the corner arrangement, ceiling height with mattresses installed, the ladder paths and room for any pull-out unit. The open loft area is not a guarantee of standing clearance.
