Foster Espresso Full over Queen Bunk Bed gives a shared bedroom or guest room two different bed widths. The upper bed takes a Full XL mattress, and the lower bed takes a Queen. Both are extra-long sleeping sizes. Framed beadboard ends and the Espresso finish give Foster its cottage character. Rubberwood is a hardwood, and the three-inch posts, metal-to-metal rail connectors and metal corner brackets contribute to the bed’s substantial construction.
Each main bed is rated for eight hundred pounds. Foster offers two ladder options. The long angled ladder hooks onto the bed and reaches the floor. It can be removed to pull out an underbed drawer or trundle. The short ladder is screwed to the bed and stays clear of underbed drawers and trundles. Underbed storage is an addition to the bunk. The optional two-drawer unit has a cubby at one end, keeping folded clothing behind drawer fronts and frequently used items within reach. The cubby’s end position is set during assembly.
For another sleeping space, compare Foster’s optional Twin XL and Full XL storage trundles. These trundles can also use dividers for storage instead of a mattress. Keep their mattress requirements separate from those of the two main beds. Foster can later separate into a Full XL bed and a Queen bed. Before ordering, measure the room, ceiling and access space, including the selected ladder and any pull-out unit.
