Need queen-size sleeping space for a shared bedroom or guest room? Meet our Foster Espresso Queen Size Bunk Beds, with a queen on both levels. Its Espresso finish and framed beadboard panels bring a warm look to the room. Three-inch square posts give the frame a substantial appearance. Rubberwood is a hardwood. Along with the posts and metal-to-metal rail connectors, it contributes to sturdy construction.
Each bed has an eight-hundred-pound weight capacity. Choose the ladder and underbed setup together. The angled ladder extends to the floor, so include its approach space in your room plan. The short vertical ladder better accommodates underbed storage. Either ladder can be placed on the right or left side of the bed. Start with the bed-only configuration if you want to keep the space underneath open. Underbed units are optional.
For storage, add two underbed drawers with a cubby at the end. Keep bedding and everyday belongings close to the lower bed. Or choose a Twin XL or Full XL storage trundle. Add a mattress for another sleeping space, or use dividers for storage. The bed frame measures sixty-six inches wide, eighty-seven inches long, and seventy-one inches high. Then check ceiling height and ladder access. Leave pull-out space for the drawers or trundle you choose, beyond the frame dimensions.
Both beds take standard queen mattresses. We recommend up to eight inches thick on each level. Keep an optional trundle mattress within eight inches, too. Guardrails and Euro-slats are included, so no bunkie board is needed. Later, Foster can separate into two individual queen beds as sleeping needs change. Explore Foster at The Bean Bag Store dot com.
