Gustav Espresso Full over Queen Bunk Bed combines an extra-long upper bed with a Queen below. The upper mattress is Full XL, not standard Full. Mission-style vertical slats and detailed end molding give the Espresso frame an open, classic look. Gustav is made from rubberwood, a hardwood that contributes to the bed’s substantial construction. Metal-to-metal rail connectors and metal corner brackets reinforce the frame.
Both the Full XL and Queen main beds are rated for eight hundred pounds. The short ladder is screwed to Gustav and stays clear of underbed drawers and trundles. The long angled ladder hooks onto the bed and reaches the floor. It can be removed when you need underbed access. Either ladder can be installed on the right or left side. The optional underbed unit gives you two drawers and a cubby.
Drawer joinery and full-extension glides support everyday use, while the cubby provides open storage at one end. This unit is selected separately from the bunk. An optional Twin XL or Full XL storage trundle is a different way to use the space. Add the appropriate mattress for a pull-out bed, or use the dividers for storage. Plan its own mattress thickness and the room needed to open it.
The main frame can later become a Full XL bed and a Queen bed. For your current room, check the ceiling, mattress thickness, ladder and pull-out access. Explore Gustav at thebeanbagstore.com, from Totally Home Furniture.
