Planning a shared guest room or vacation home? Our White Melrose brings four beds and storage stairs together in one coordinated layout. There are two Twin XL beds on top and two Queen beds below. The center staircase separates the two bunk sections and gives access to the upper beds. The two bunk sections, center staircase, four full-length guardrails and Euro-slats are included.
The White finish and slatted bed ends keep the room coordinated. Each of the four steps has a built-in drawer. That gives you storage in the staircase for bedding and everyday belongings, without adding a separate chest. Melrose is made from solid hardwood. We include the metal support rods, giving each main bed a two-thousand-pound weight capacity. It is also GREENGUARD Gold certified.
The stair drawers are included; pieces beneath the Queen beds are optional. Choose the bed alone, or use those spaces for drawers, cubbies or Twin XL storage trundles. Optional drawers tuck belongings away. Open cubbies keep everyday items within reach. Choose the underbed arrangement around what you want to store and how you use the room. The optional Twin XL storage trundle can hold a mattress for another sleeping space, or use dividers for storage.
These are underbed additions, separate from the four main beds. Available setups include matching units on both sides and combinations of storage with a trundle. Choose your configuration around the storage and sleeping spaces you need. The complete layout is sixty-four inches wide, one hundred eighty-six and a quarter inches long, and about seventy-one inches high. That is roughly fifteen and a half feet along the room.
Use Twin XL mattresses above and Queen mattresses below. For this White model, we recommend mattresses up to eight inches thick on both levels. Check ceiling clearance and room to use any pull-outs.
