Moreno Grey Queen over Queen Bunk Bed stacks two Queen sleeping surfaces in one coordinated frame. Neither sleeper has to move to a narrower upper bed. Grey beadboard panels and substantial square posts give the bunk a cottage-inspired look. Rubberwood is a hardwood. Three-inch posts, metal-to-metal rail connectors and metal corner brackets contribute to Moreno’s sturdy construction.
The upper Queen and lower Queen are each rated for eight hundred pounds. Moreno offers two ladder options. The long angled ladder hooks onto the bed and reaches the floor. It can be removed to open an underbed drawer or trundle. The short ladder is screwed to the bed and stays clear of those underbed options. The optional drawer-and-cubby unit combines two enclosed drawers with an open end compartment. It gives the room a place for clothing, books or spare bedding without adding another freestanding storage piece.
The pictured unit is an optional addition. Instead of drawers, you can choose a Twin XL or Full XL storage trundle beneath the Queen. Its dividers let it serve as storage when it is not used with a mattress. Check the selected trundle’s own mattress requirements and pull-out space. Moreno can be separated into two individual Queen beds later. For the bunk arrangement, measure ceiling height, access and mattress thickness as well as the frame.
