Our Penn Low Natural Queen Bunk Bed has the same strength and stability as our Bennett Queen over Queen Bunk Bed; it’s just not as high. These low bunk beds have a queen bed on the top and a queen bed on the bottom both with a 2000lb weight capacity! The lower height works well with smaller rooms or rooms with slanted ceilings which are commonly found in older homes or vacation homes. You can easily sleep multiple adults, kids or teens in the 2 queen beds and it even offers a twin xl storage trundle for under the bunk as another sleeping spot. The storage trundle will hold a twin xl mattress or it comes with dividers and can be used as a large storage drawer. If you prefer more separated storage space, you can add 2 under bed storage drawers, 2 storage cubbies with dividers, or 1 of each depending on your storage needs. The drawers are have soft close metal glides ensuring they will last. They are all priced separately. At a later date, this queen bunk bed will separate into 2 standard queen size beds if your sleeping needs change and you need beds in different rooms. It is made from solid birch in a Natural finish as shown and is also available in White or Chestnut finishes. Additional Twin XL or Full XL sizes are available.
