With the 16” guardrails, you have the option to choose a plush mattress up to 11” in depth without sacrificing safety. Under the bed is 52-1/2" of clearance allowing you to configure the open space to your specific needs. You can add one of our Stella White dressers or bookcases underneath for storage/display space. Or add our Stella White Platform Bed Frame paired with a nightstand to have an additional sleeping space for guests. These loft beds for adults are made from heavy duty birch wood in a White finish as shown, and are also available in a Washburn Natural or Upton Chestnut finish to coordinate with your bedroom décor. At a later date, the extension legs can be removed to make a standard queen size bed.
