These days, xl and queen bunk beds are in high demand. This gives you additional leg room for taller people to stretch out. Now, what about rooms where you need bunk beds for both kids and adults (think vacation homes, Airbnb, etc)? You want to be sure you have adequate space for everyone. This is where the option of a bunk bed with queen on bottom comes into play. To sleep another person, there are trundles in twin xl or full xl sizes which roll out giving you an additional sleeping spot. You can also do an xl or queen bunk bed with stairs which has a staircase built into the end of the bed. These staircases give you an easy way in and out of the top bunk and offer storage in each of the steps.
