Our Chestnut Downtown Highrise Loft Beds for Teens has an extra tall height that you can actually walk under (for most). This high loft bed sits at 88-1/4” high with an amazing 71” of clearance under the bed perfect for growing teens and college kids. You can maximize your floor space with the extra height by adding pieces different pieces under the loft. Different style desks can be added to create a study space or dressers can be added giving you easy access to storage. Add a small couch or chair or toss some bean bags on the floor and you have a great spot to hangout with friends. When it’s time to sleep, up top there is the comfortable loft bed for teens. The top loft bed offers 16” guardrails on both sides for safety. There are 3 sets of 2 cross members along the bottom sides and back of the loft bed ensuring the stability of the 2000lb weight capacity, as well as an included anti-tip kit. Each ladder rung has a grooved flat surface making it easy to get in and out of the bed. It is made from sturdy hardwood available in a Chestnut finish as shown, Natural or White finishes in either a Twin or Full size. Please note: This loft bed needs to be assembled upside down and then flipped over. See measurements below for ceiling height requirements. These beds are not recommended for kids under the age of 12, but are great when they're ready for a teenager loft bed.
