Our Julian Weathered White Captains Bed features a sturdy wooden Pine bed frame. This captain’s bed has a bookcase headboard with 5 cubby shelves for displaying books or holding a lamp or alarm clock. The 6 storage drawers underneath bed provide storage for clothes, toys or bedding. The drawers have side metal European drawer glides with positive stops for smooth opening and closing. For extra storage space, an additional set of 6 drawers can be added to the other side of the bed. This would give you 12 total drawers. They are priced separately. At the foot of the bed is a door which gives you access to the space underneath the bed. The unique weathered chalk finish gives this captain bed a look that can be used in both a rustic or modern bedroom for kids or teens that want a more grown up look.
