 One of the most common questions we get asked: What is a trundle bed? Well, it’s pretty simple really. It is a bed frame with a trundle underneath it. The trundle offers an additional sleeping space that sits on casters and can be rolled in and out from under the bed as needed. Some beds offer the convenience of a storage trundle which has a dual function. It comes with slats for that extra sleeping spot, or it comes with dividers and can be used as one large storage drawer. These beds typically range in sizes twin, twin xl, full and full xl.

 But what about adults you ask? Trundle beds can be used and are made for adults as well. Typically available in queen or king sizes, these trundle beds are great for overnight guests and for vacation homes or rental properties. Rooms will look neat and uncluttered as the trundle rolls right under the bed frame when not in use and most have a decorative front panel that compliments the bed.
